DN Galan is classified as Super Grand Prix and
is part of IAAF World Athletic Tour. It has been the leading track
and field meet in Sweden since it was first staged in 1967. Today
it is also the largest annual sporting event in Sweden.

Stockholm Olympic Stadium July 23-24, 2008 DN Galan Youth, the only Track and Field Gala created for the young athlete (age 12-19) to experience the same conditions, the same atmosphere and the same setting as the elite athlete. On July 23-24, the days after the IAAF Super Grand Prix DN Galan, the historical Stockholm Olympic Stadium is transformed into a track and field gala and meeting place for our young athletes. This is a unique opportunity for the young athlete to experience competition in gala format and meet competitors and friends from all over the world!

DN Galan would like to invite you to a day of
athletic education by - DN Galan Seminar on July 22, morning session
before the traditional DN Galan Super Grand Prix at the magnificent
Stockholm Olympic Stadium. The Seminar, which offers activities covering
a wide range of topics, will be attractive to athletes, coaches, sponsors,
media and organizers of athletic competitions, as well as the general
public. Details will be posted in due time. Spend a couple of summer
days in beautiful Stockholm and take the opportunity to be part of
the action at DN Galan Super Grand Prix on July 22 as well!
